With a background spanning aircraft maintenance, offshore wind, and testing and commissioning roles on major infrastructure programmes including Crossrail, HS2 and Sellafield, Colin applies first-hand knowledge of operational systems and safety-critical delivery to shape high-scoring technical responses.

Now a consultant at WeBid, Colin specialises in engineering methodology, system assurance, health, safety and wellbeing, and project management content. He draws on his practical experience in rail, defence and nuclear sectors to translate technical detail into clear, structured narratives that resonate with evaluators. His expertise is underpinned by a strong track record of securing high-profile wins, including the £9bn Network Rail CP7 SID Framework, Sellafield’s £1.1bn Infrastructure Delivery Partnership and the £300m KBS Maritime Framework.

Colin’s military background in intelligence gathering gives him a natural strength in engaging with subject matter experts, building rapport, asking the right questions and extracting key insights. His qualifications in IOSH Managing Safely and APM Project Management further enhance his ability to align bid content with risk management, governance and delivery assurance priorities.
